Aircoach Bus- the aircoach bus leaves Dublin airport every 10 minutes and it will take 45 minutes to get to Donnybrook. You can choose from 2 routes - Ballsbridge Route and Leopardstown Route. If you click on the links below you will see a route map for each route and we are located across the street from Sach Hotel which is listed on the map. We are on the corner of Morehampton Rd. and Herbert Park and the cost is €8 one way or €14 return.

Dublin Bus Public Transport from Dublin Airport

Route 746 - this bus leaves Dublin Airport every 30 minutes and if you catch it the bus stop is just 5 doors away from Morehampton Townhouse. The journey time is 30 minutes. To view the timetable - ROUTE 746 TIMETABLE

The other option is to take any bus into the city centre and get off on or as close as possible to O'Connell Street. Then take the No 10 Bus (south bound) which is a very frequent bus route and takes approximately 10-12 minutes and thisbus will leave you on Morehampton Road just 5 doors away from our guesthouse.

For the above route ask the driver to let you off as close as possible to the juction of Morehampton Rd and Herbert Park as we are situated on the corner.

Buses which serve Morehampton Road are No10, 46A, 145. These are particularly frequent from O'Connell Street outside Budget Travel Shop or from D'Olier Street.

Driving from Dun Laoghaire Harbour- 7km - 15 minutes

Start out at Dun Laoghaire Harbour- R118
Continue forward onto Dunleary Road - N31
At traffic lights continue forward onto Dunleary Road - N31
At traffit lights turn left onto Brighton Avenue
The take next right onto Monkstown Road - R119
At traffic signals turn right onto Temple Hill - R113
Continue forward onto Frascati Road - N31
At traffic signals continue forward onto Rock Road - N31
At traffic signals continue forward onto Rock Road - R118 (signposted The North N1, N2, N3)
Continue forward onto Rock Road - R118 Entering Dublin - R118
At traffic signals continue forward onto Merrion Road - R118 (signposted City Centre)
Continue forward with St. Vincent's University Hospital on your left
At traffic signals continue forward into Merrion Road
Continue forward for 1 mile passing the RDS on your left
Once you pass the RDS continue on and take the second left at the second set of lights and turn into Herbert Park.
Continue forward and Morehampton Townhouse is located at the end of Herbert Park on the left hand side
